Financial Wellness
People hardly change banks, so financial institutions and startups had their eyes set on a new generation of first-time bankers.
The UK startup Step: Banking For Teens was specifically designed with teens beginning their financial journey in mind and they brought in influencers like Charli D’Amelio as investors and promoters to directly target Gen-Z. For Capital One, their approach was to remove fees and minimums to attract younger people with smaller paychecks.
This collage shows a literal money-grab, both physically with a teenage hand reaching for money and figuratively as companies targeted these same youths.
