Goodbye Quibi, we hardly knew ya. After only 6 months, the well-funded, short-form video service shut down. The brand initially positioned as content for the "in-between" moments, unfortunately, lost those bite-size binging moments during the pandemic and people turned to other platforms.

Netflix and YouTube saw massive increases in short-and long-form content, while Quibi's star-studded soundbites were dismissed as "fancy YouTube." Making it even less fun, users couldn't share Quibi's content with friends online and the platform relied solely on traditional marketing further hurting the brand's traction as a non-traditional streaming service.
